As a Project Manager, your focus will be to lead a highly skilled team of workstream leads to deliver new product development programmes to support the Comcast and Sky Product Portfolio, across Connectivity and Entertainment. You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of Projects within the Global Device and Software Organisation from ideation to launch and post launch. You will ensure alignment across workstreams, monitoring progress and providing reports both within the wider team and to senior management up to and including exec level. You will be required to maintain the momentum and motivation of your project team to ensure the project meets its targets through all phases.  

What you'll do

• Be known for your specialized expertise as a Project Manager and be accountable for your team's performance.

• Contribute ideas to solve complex problems and support others in doing so, making decisions guided by Sky policies.

• Drive alignment and project delivery across all workstreams, including SW, HW, Product, Manufacturing, and Business Stakeholders.

• Work with key stakeholders to define schedules and dependencies, maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and external partners.

• Anticipate and resolve technical challenges, ensuring detailed documentation within smartsheets.

• Continuously improve ways of working and maintain a global, future-thinking mindset in project approaches.

What you'll bring

• Experience delivering in-house/JDM projects and electronic consumer products to market.

• Enthusiastic about new technology and products, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.

• Proven experience driving new product development from conception to market launch, with strong project management skills.

• Proactive in researching and resolving issues in fast-moving environments, with excellent people and communication skills.

• Utilizes management influence to drive team members towards project goals, with a grasp of technical project management including HW, SW, budget, and resource management.

• Inspirational leader demonstrating enthusiasm, passion, commitment to success, and the ability to work effectively with multiple senior stakeholders.

Group Product & Supply is responsible for the design, development and supply of our data and content delivery platforms into customer homes across the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany and Austria. We are constantly working to improve the customer experience on our award-winning Sky Broadband, Sky+ and Sky Q boxes, whilst looking for new opportunities to bring innovative ways to deliver data and content to our customers.

Our location takes some beating: we’re practically in Brentwood station, which has regular trains to London Liverpool Street. If you find it easier to drive, there’s some onsite parking, while Chatham Way car park is a short walk away.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
