What you'll do:- Use National Intelligence Model (NIM) methodologies to support the investigators by analysing incoming intelligence into piracy.
- Produce intelligence products, such as subject or problem profiles, timelines and network mapping.
- Process 3/5/2 intelligence reports, analysing & grading incoming intelligence.
- Be the subject matter expert for intelligence tools, such as IBase and I2 Analyst Notebook.
- Work in partnership with law enforcement, other departments and group businesses to identify emerging threats and develop effective counter measures.
- Conduct in depth analysis on Sky customer systems to evidence piracy for internal/external enforcement activity and collate evidence of infringement in reports and produce intelligence packages to support high standard investigations and assist the Investigations team on priority cases
- Demonstrable experience working in criminal intelligence, providing analytical support for complex investigations into organised criminality.
- An excellent understanding of NIM and it’s associated methodologies.
- Highly proficient in the use of intelligence tools such as IBase and I2 Analyst notebook.
- Highly skilled in producing intelligence products, such as problem or subject profiles, timelines and network mapping.
- Demonstrable working experience as an intelligence analyst or business data analyst; and analysis of data sets to identify suspect behaviours
- Excellent IT Skills, including advance knowledge of excel which is fundamental for this role. Other skills will include Web Tools and open source research tools.
We help combat piracy and theft of Sky content – making it as hard as possible for pirates to steal our content, operate their networks, and provide their services. We also have a team of investigators to explore a wide range of criminal threats against Sky, its people and assets. This can range from data loss, to piracy, to financial crime, helping make everyone and everything #SafeAtSky
