Assistant Finance Analyst

As a member of the P2P Team within GCO, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of both the operational and strategic objectives of the department.
 

What you’ll do:

• Support delivery of P2P operational and strategic objectives, including effective governance of the offshore service provider (Accenture) to ensure accurate, timely outputs and strong onshore/offshore collaboration.

• Support Sky’s integration into Comcast operations by delivering agreed requirements on time, while collaborating across P2P, Finance, Accenture, and Comcast to ensure knowledge sharing, cross‑skilling, and business continuity.

• Act as a subject matter expert in Financial Operations, resolving aged creditor ledger items, blocked transactions, VIM backlog issues, and escalated business queries with clear ownership and accountability.

• Manage ServiceNow tickets within KPI targets, support vendor onboarding, and provide accurate documentation and responses for internal and external audits, including fraud investigations as required.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focused service.

• Continuously challenge and improve processes, policies, and controls to drive efficiency, standardisation, compliance, and personal development.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong financial experience with a solid understanding of the Accounts Payable and end‑to‑end P2P process.

• Good knowledge of the P2P control framework, including audit requirements and relevant financial policies.

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Copilot 365 to review and interpret financial and management information.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and with external partners.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide clear, actionable recommendations.

• Experience with SAP is preferred.
