This role is an exciting opportunity to join us and work within our Assurance Operations team. We are an integral part of Sky providing specialised support to over 400 processes across multiple teams to provide assurance on the accuracy of our systems and processes.

As a member of the Assurance Team, you will utilise big data and trend analysis to ensure customer and revenue assurance are maintained to a high level.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide analytical support for overall Billing Assurance team while independently managing your own workload.
  • Analysing large sets of data to identify customer assurance issues and be able to prioritise and assess them before determining appropriate actions to take.
  • Work with Technology teams to implement required solutions to issues impacting performance and ensure high levels of customer and revenue assurance.
  • Work closely with stakeholders including our Compliance, Project, and Technology teams to provide updates and seek resolutions to issues, excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Take ownership for root cause analysis of issues. Shape and implement solutions to scenarios and get customers back on the happy path.
  • Creatively develop and investigate product and revenue assurance opportunities. Look for opportunities to drive and implement change.  
  • Reporting system and process issues that affect team performance to the Billing Assurance manager and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to departmental process & system improvement programmes.

What you’ll bring:
 

  • Self-starter with a curious mindset, an eye for detail and a passion for knowledge.  Someone who can take data and develop into actionable insights. Someone who pushes for improvement using analytics and is able to convert this into positive actions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to different levels of stakeholders (including senior management).
  • Previous experience in data and analytics with a proven track record of utilising large and complex datasets to back up findings and seek solutions. Demonstrating a curiosity when manipulating data to uncover potential issues or trends.
  • Experience of investigating and managing issues to resolution, communicating with multiple stakeholders. Someone who is empowered in influencing and driving change to challenge the status quo.
  • An appetite to learn and dedicated to self-development. Enthusiastic in contributing to departmental improvement.
  • The ability to think creatively and pursue your own ideas. High motivation, unafraid of a challenge with a pro-active attitude, a real team player.
  • Although advantageous to have experience with data manipulation tools such as BigQuery, this is not essential to someone who has ambition and will apply themself to grow their skills in this area.
