The Tester – Solution Testing is responsible for the testing of software solutions to ensure they meet customer requirements and are fit-for-purpose. The tester will be required to develop test plans, execute tests, document results and report on findings in order to identify any issues that may exist within a solution prior to deployment. This role requires an individual with strong problem solving skills who can work independently as well as part of a team environment.

What you'll do: 

• Test out products and provide reports about any issues or improvements that the product may require.​ 

• Understand the architecture of the product being tested​. 

• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.​ 

• Collaborate with other automation QA’s and software developers, business analysts and automation architects to plan, design and automate tests.​ 

• Assist in the collection and documentation of test requirements, development of sprint tasks, estimates and work plans.​ 

• Contribute to planning, design, and implementation of test automation frameworks using best-practice techniques and principles. 

• Validate, analyse and log issues, and provide appropriate feedback​. 

• You will be driving the QA process within the team. 

• Taking responsibility for creating, maintaining, and deploying automated test suites for functional and regression test cases. 

What you’ll bring: 

• Strong Java skills and very good understanding of OOPs concepts​. 

• Experience of Selenium web driver, IntelliJ Maven, Junit and Cucumber. 

• API testing with Postman/Rest Assured. 

• Excellent SQL skills​. 

• Experience of continuous integration/deployment ​. 

• Proficient in using defect tracking tools such as Jira. 

• Problem solver – Analytical approach, with the ability to make the complex simple.​ 

• Attention to detail – Being detail oriented is required as you will test Products to find ways to improve them and isolate problems​. 

• Communication – Strong verbal & written communication skills to effectively collaborate with the engineering team and create testing plans and written reports showing errors.
