Group Enterprise Technology Solutions
Our Group Enterprise Technology Solutions team keeps Europe’s biggest entertainment brand running smoothly by providing the digital technologies, tools and systems our colleagues need to work productively and collaboratively no matter where they are. Our team is built around five core capabilities: Enterprise Resource Planning platforms; workplace solutions; enablement and automation; value stream realisation and governance; and transformation and change management.
What you’ll do
Travel across Sky Northern England sites to support Workplace Technologies; AV, VC, Work settings, Inbuilding Infrastructure
Daily meeting room checks; testing adaptors, HDMI’s VC’s, Switching functionality, mics, TV’s, Frequent Cable Management,
Daily checks of printers for toner levels or warning notices, visual check of all work settings and logging of tickets for any substandard desks.
Hero digital signage support hardware and software (LED walls, Brightsign, 7thSense)
Video Conferencing and meeting room support (Software - Cisco Webex, MS Teams Hardware – Cisco Webex Room stack, Logitech, Shure, Crestron and QSYS)
IPTV and Satellite distribution support and installation
AV Installation, screens, STB (Sky Q, NOW Sky Stream devices)
Team admin tasks (ticket logging, planning/scheduling, incident management)
Meeting and event support
What you’ll bring
Sky’s Technical Office Services team are looking for a passionate and driven Engineer to join the team, this role requires a forward thinking and hands on approach, offering exceptional service to all levels of the business. Sky is a fast-paced environment, and you will be at the core of it.
Experience in Audio Video in corporate environment is necessary
Full Valid driving licence is necessary
Hands on experience in Video Conferencing and meeting room support (Software - Cisco Webex, MS Teams Hardware – Cisco Webex Room stack, Logitech, Shure, Crestron and QSYS)
A confident, friendly, approachable manner with a flexible, can-do attitude, collaborating for success.
Have exceptional organisational skills, ability to multi-task, good time management and strong attention to detail.
Proven ability to work under pressure, to tight time scales and enjoy understanding issues and problem solving.
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); able to build effective relationships internally and externally.
A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
