The Chief Sub, Politics, is a key part of the Sky News politics unit, working closely with the Assistant Editors and reporters in Millbank as well as the wider online team in Osterley.

This is an office based role.
What you’ll do
- Subbing, writing copy and publishing video in the online Politics Hub live blog.
- Ensuring our political content is being sold well in headlines on the app and website.
- Curating political content effectively to showcase the best of our team's journalism.
Essential Criteria
- Excellent news judgement and demonstrable political knowledge.
- Significant subbing expertise and an ability to master and implement the Sky News style guide.
- Great communication skills and a proven ability to work well in a cross-functional team.
