Please, note this is a 12 month fixed-term contract position.

What you'll do:

  • Responsibility for a team of 2, leading delivery of annual, quarterly and weekly customer forecasts for Sky Broadband and Sky Mobile, with a focus on surfacing key assumptions & supporting insights to senior leadership.

  • Responsibility for timely and relevant performance updates on each business area, influencing customer growth by driving data-led responses to the competitive trading environment.

  • Seen as a subject matter expert, with emphasis on simplifying the complexity for all stakeholder - understanding the detail, but elevating presentations to deliver exec-ready materials to facilitate and shape decision making

  • Review accuracy and functionality of your team’s forecasting models to ensure ability to explain & contextualise performance

  • Develop manager capability on the team supporting people development with coaching and identifying training needs to build their skills

  • Engage extensively across functions, building and maintaining key relationships with colleagues in Ireland across Finance, Commercial, Marketing, Product and Operations teams, whilst also linking in with Group colleagues to keep your finger on the pulse.

What you'll bring:

  • Highly numerate and analytical, with strong skills in Excel, Powerpoint and Tableau as the key tools to identify and communicate insights.

  • You have prior experience of trend analysis & providing relevant business insights crucial, whilst forecast delivery experience is highly desirable.

  • Effective leader who takes time to coach and develop their team

  • Self-starter, able to identify trends, issues and challenges – a real get up and go attitude to tackle issues head on and who responds positively to change and/or ambiguity.

  • Brilliant collaborator, able to work across a matrix organisation to ensure the Sky leadership team makes informed and timely decisions.

  • You have a highly developed curiosity and a genuine dedication to problem-solving

  • Experienced in fast paced work environments with large & complex data, delivering quick commercial insights to drive business decisions. Sectors might include but are not limited to, Telecoms, Media, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG.

  • Solid working understanding of key financial performance indicators and how these are to be used when making decisions and recommendations.

Our striking Ireland HQ has an A-list location on Burlington Road, walking distance from central Dublin. Grand Canal Dock and Pearse train stations are both around 1.5km away, and we’re a short stroll from the buses of Baggot Street, Leeson Street and Waterloo Road. There’s plenty of parking for cyclists too.
