The Consumer Group Content Marketing Team is responsible for promoting the best TV programmes, channels, and content products available on Sky. Our brand teams manage the marketing for Sky entertainment channels (Sky Atlantic, Sky One, Sky Witness, Sky Crime, Sky Comedy, Sky Arts, ScyFy, E!), and Sky Kids. It’s our responsibility to showcase the best content available across the Sky platform, driving value perceptions, viewing to our content and desire for our premium content products.
Reporting into the Head of Content Strategy and Data this role will assist on Sky Content’s inventory management across Sky Entertainment, Sky Cinema and Sky Kids.
With a keen eye for detail and an aptitude for coordinating information, this person will be able to pull together data from disparate sources to ensure that Sky Content’s content databases are contain accurate and complete information. This role will help Content Strategy use inventory data to shape the future of Sky Content’s strategy by identifying trends and gaps in inventory volume.
They will work closely with Ops and Rights teams to understand the impact of Content data on the rest of the business. This role will work closely with the Planning team to ensure the accuracy of the Airtable Sky Content database and will investigate and fix any errors or anomalies in the data.
What you’ll do:
Work with Planning, Rights Management, Acquisitions and Production teams to ensure that the Airtbale Content database is accurate and complete.
Maintain and distribute On Demand inventory sheets to relevant stakeholders in the business
Distribute summaries of Sky Content inventory and competitor activity to the business, innovating and improving the way in which this information is visualised and communicated
Build relationships with multiple stakeholder teams throughout Sky, becoming the first port of call for inventory data queries from other teams and the main avenue for investigating data anomalies.
What you’ll bring:
Experience of content planning or management within a TV/Media environment
Understanding of content licensing agreements and the ability to exploit the maximum value from them
Strong understanding of content management processes and basic understanding of automated processes flowing from content management systems
Basic Excel and PowerPoint skills
Keen eye for detail and able to spot inconsistencies in large datasets.
Intellectually curious with an aptitude for problem-solving
Collaborative outlook with excellent interpersonal skills
Passion for television with a keen desire to deliver a strong customer experience
Aptitude for learning new software and quick to grasp the potential of new technology
