The Content Operations Coordinators play a key part in helping facilitate Sky Sports’ multiplatform content and streaming operations, spanning Digital, Social and traditional Broadcast as well as the exciting new Sky Sports+ service. Working across resource allocation, administration, setup and operation of production tools, support for Editorial Content teams and the operation of produced live streams across Sky Sports’ platforms. A multi-skilled and varied role, where you’ll learn technical, operational and editorial skills valuable to the industry 

What you’ll do: 

  • Setup, operate and manage live streams across Sky products, reacting to and troubleshooting any issues 
  • Work across multiple live concurrent sports at once and updating live content management systems for customer facing platforms  
  • Implement content production resource plans, ensuring all content is available where it needs to be including internally, for customers and for third parties e.g. rights owners 
  • React to late and last-minute changes around live Sport, to help deliver the best experience for our customers across our platforms 
  • Working with the Content Operations Supervisors, manage the day-to-day running of our Digital, Social and non-linear content production tools and platforms, outputting clips, highlights, live and AI/ML driven content 
  • Engage technical support in the event of live issues and update stakeholders on progress 
  • Be the key point of contact for Editorial Content and Social teams for urgent content and platform requirements and administration 
  • Work on a shift basis around live sporting events 

What you’ll bring: 

  • Good knowledge of Sky Sports’ content and products including social media channels 
  • A passion to be involved in content operations, with a strong desire to learn operational, technical and editorial skills 
  • A proactive nature with the ability to anticipate and identify changes or challenges, reacting quickly and calmly under pressure  
  • Good communication skills and ability to represent yourself and Sky positively when speaking with internal stakeholders and third parties 
  • Must possess an exceptional level of attention to detail ensuring precision and accuracy to uphold the highest standards 
  • An awareness of content workflows, production tools and experience with live streaming would be beneficial 
  • A huge passion for Sport, particularly Football, Tennis, Golf & Rugby with a willingness to work around the sporting calendar

Your office base:Osterley:
