Corporate Communications Lead, Content - 12 month FTC

This role is responsible for leading all external corporate and internal communications activity across Sky Studios in the UK and Italy, as well as managing industry and internal communications for Sky UK&I Content. The role also leads marketing and communications for Sky Studios Elstree, playing a key role in delivering against the commercial strategy for the film and TV studio.
What You'll Do:
- Working within Corporate Affairs and to the broader comms strategy, devise and execute an ambitious and strategic external corporate communications plan for Sky Studios and UK&I Content
- Leading on the profiling of key executives from Sky Studios and UK&I Content, including Chief Content Officer and CEO Sky Studios, including festival appearances, industry panels, keynote speeches and media interviews related to overall strategy and not show/film specific.
- Leading on Sky Studios and UK&I Content corporate brand presence at key corporate festivals and markets around the world, as well as designing and delivering owned corporate events for Sky Studios and UK&I Content (e.g. Winter Drinks, Industry Brunch)
- Develop and deliver the strategy for all internal communications activity across Sky Studios and UK&I Content including major internal events such as Sky Studios/ UK&I Content Together.
- Build and lead on all external relations activity for Sky Studios Elstree, including engagement with press, community stakeholders and the industry, alongside developing and delivering a strategic and efficient b2b marketing campaign that delivers against the revenue targets for the studio.
- Ensure all communications deliver strategic value to Sky Studios and UK&I Content, while also supporting the broader Sky brand and corporate narrative, working in partnership with colleagues across Corporate Affairs.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven track-record of effective communications across internal, external and b2b marketing.
- Experience of dealing with trade and national press on high-profile subjects.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team providing guidance while also promoting development.
- A team player, who is able to engage colleagues across multiple divisions and disciplines.
- Project management and large-scale event experience.
- Experience of managing a number of competing priorities and challenges in a high-pressure environment.
- The ability to work independently and entrepreneurially within a large organisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised and with an excellent eye for detail.
- Deep knowledge of the international TV business and industry landscape.
- Broader experience across other communications disciplines such as social and public affairs are desirable.
