• Drive continuous improvements and optimisations across our Production & Content Delivery Platforms.
• Analyse workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.
• Collaborate with vendors, engineers, developers, and operational teams to support diverse systems and projects.
• Apply strong troubleshooting skills with a clear, logical approach to problem-solving.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure best practices, avoid performance bottlenecks, and enhance workflows.
• Refine toolsets and contribute to improvements in processes and delivery frameworks.
• Assist with unit testing, performance testing, on-site installations, and application configuration.
• Support development and engineering teams with estimating, prioritising, and planning.
• Act as a champion of quality, highlighting risks and ensuring robust implementation of products and services.

• Experience supporting content processing platforms, with a focus on testing and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, Docker, Python, and APIs.
• Knowledge of encoding and content analysis.
• Background in Media, Broadcast, or OTT industries.
• Familiarity with at least one automation framework and a programming/scripting language.
• Strong Linux, IT, and networking skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

The Content System Engineering team are a multi-disciplinary team working across our platforms. We value transparency, accountability, shared responsibility and teamwork. We are looking to hire an Engineer who will be able to bring new insights, solve problems and make sure our platforms are operating as efficiently as possible. The Engineer should have a background in content processing, they will be required to use standard industry tools to test deployments and implement automated tests on large-scale cloud-hosted applications and client API’s to ensure product quality!
