What you'll do:The Cyber Security Compliance team is a specialist team that supports all aspects of compliance across Group Technology, from interpretation of external regulations all the way through to guiding departments across Sky to successful audit or assessment outcomes. Working across all territories including Sky Germany, Italy, and the UK, the Cyber Security Compliance team provides strategic and operational input into all aspects of technology compliance.
The successful candidate will conduct compliance activities such as:
- maintaining day-to-day compliance activities including oversight of control completion and management of control non-compliances
- working in a SME capacity with various stakeholders to interpret the impact of new or evolving regulations as well as ensuring the compliance implications of any large pieces of work are considered
- involvement with risk assessments for vulnerabilities against Sky’s most sensitive datasets and critical services
- engagement with teams due for audit to proactively up-posture their cyber security and assist with evidence collection
- ensuring regulatory controls are maintained and completed in timely fashion
- ensuring the access requirements of vendors and partners, that are connecting to Sky systems and networks, are appropriately controlled
- creating compliance-based reporting which identifies key risk indicators based on services and regulatory datasets
- keeping up to date with relevant changes in the industry and communicating these to business stakeholders when necessary
You will also be required to liaise between the Cyber department and other Sky departments or external third parties.
This is an exciting time for the team, with cyber security and protection of information and content a key focus at Board level.
What you'll bring:- Experienced in Information Security Risk or Compliance Management in one or ideally all of the following areas; GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS, PECR and understand the potential consequences and significance to Sky for non-compliance
- Process-driven, self-motivated and well organised individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and initiative
- Someone who thrives in an environment of change and is happy to challenge the status quo, when appropriate
- Comfortable with continuous improvement; working to agreed objectives, targets and timescales
- You will have strong communication skills, both written, including PowerPoint, and verbal, with the ability to articulate and author reports, presentations, make recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Experience with an enterprise Risk and Compliance tool would be advantageous
