What you'll do

• Support the Insider Risk workstream.

• Analyse current risks identified and their remediation.

• Assist with the defining and implementation of Insider Risk or Data Leakage Prevention policies.

• Assist with the review of alerts generated.

• Assist with the rollout of our Sensitivity Labelling workstream.

• Manage risks identified on our Cloud Platforms.

• Support the management of Data Leakage Channels such Internet, Mass Storage/USB, and more

What you'll bring

• Good understanding of data security risks and mitigation strategies. This includes knowledge of how to identify and address potential risks to sensitive data within an organisation.

• Familiarity with insider risk management is essential - insider risks refer to threats posed by employees, contractors, or other trusted individuals who have access to an organization’s systems and data.

• Experience and/or knowledge of Microsoft Purview and other security solutions, such as Microsoft Defender, which can enhance our ability to protect data and security workloads.

• Experience in creating and implementing customizable policies to prevent data loss.

• Experience of Microsoft O365 suite of products such as Purview (Insider Risk & DLP), Labelling, Content Manager and more.

• Experience in Cloud Platforms such as AWS (AWS Macie), Google and Entra (Azure).

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices and an understanding of security frameworks e.g., NIST, ISO27001.

• An ability to work independently toward achieving a common vision for Cyber Security at Sky and in establishing and maintaining relations with stakeholders up to C-level across multiple departments within an Enterprise environment.

Team overview

The Group Core Cyber Security team works to define, support implementation and manage identified risks or alerts. We help the business grow while protecting our customers, colleagues, and partners from increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. Whilst primarily working with our Project, technology and engineering teams you will be expected to work with our wider teams across the UK, Italy, and Germany and participate in joint projects between Sky and Comcast.

Our Brick Lane office is in the heart of the East End of London. It’s part of a vibrant and diverse community; close to street food, cafes and shops.
