Reference Data Team – Change Delivery  

Change Delivery is the driving force behind Sky. We’re the team that takes an idea, such as a new product or proposition, and helps it become a reality.  

We work with practically every area of the business to bring our technology and content to millions of customers. Recent projects include the launch of Sky Glass as well as Disney+ on Sky Q.  

The Reference Data Team manages the data in core operational systems. Responsible for a wide variety of functional changes within the database/systems. From offers and products to transcomms and campaign planning.  

We are responsible for maintaining and developing Sky’s various product catalogues, collaborate with all areas of Sky to lead and shape change and deliver innovative solutions whilst working across a broad portfolio of projects.  

We are split into three areas: Projects, Operations and Analysis and Readiness.

What you'll do: 

  • Provide a solution focused service, designing solutions and building relevant changes to required quality standards 

  • Drive prioritisation and sequencing of change and assist with planning in delivery, design & development and implement and/or facilitate implementation of changes 

  • Ensuring all changes have the customer experience clearly defined and deliver exceptional levels of service 

  • Identify, manage and communicate risks, issues, activities training and handover of business change 

  • Produce and communicate required/relevant management information as well as regular project updates 

  • Provide advice and guidance on data models  

  • Represent area in giving feedback on processes and systems in relevant forums 

  • Review, analyse and monitor processes and procedures in line with best practice 

  • Use your specialist knowledge and expertise to influence both change and business projects when required. 

What you'll bring: 

 

  • Knowledge and experience of data modelling  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, bringing a creative approach to solution finding 

  • You’ll have meticulous attention to detail, be a confident communicator, and have an ability to see the bigger picture 

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills are a must as you’llbe working collaboratively with cross-disciplined teams every day 

  • Flexibility in your data analysis approach to adapt in a fast-paced environment
