The Scheduling and Delivery Team is a pivotal function within the business, responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of both operational and project-based activities. By aligning resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations, we help drive efficiency and maintain momentum across key initiatives. 

As a central coordination point, we work closely with field teams, project managers, and senior stakeholders to plan schedules, manage risks, and keep delivery on track. Whether supporting day-to-day operations or contributing to strategic projects, your role in this team will be essential to achieving our goals and delivering value across the organisation. 

What you'll do  

• Coordinate and manage scheduling activities to support field engineer teams through our scheduling tool. 

• Support and assign tasks efficiently based on geographic location, factoring in travel time, job requirements and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). 

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align resource planning within project timelines. 

• Monitor progress and proactively address scheduling conflicts or delays. 

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning and delivery efficiency. 

What you'll bring

• Strong organisational and communication skills - Able to communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbal. 

• Experience in a fast-paced operational or project/scheduling delivery environment. 

• Some experience working with maps, geographical planning, or scheduling tasks based on location. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and scheduling platforms such as Service Now 

• Good understanding of ethernet products, EAD, OSA, NGA would be desirable. 

• Comfortable liaising with internal teams and stakeholders. 

• Previous experience in the telecommunications industry is highly desirable.

Group Communications and Infrastructure 

Group Communications and Infrastructure team and you’ll work alongside experts in broadband, telephony, mobile, cloud and infrastructure. We’re the team that designs, builds, supports, and maintains the telecoms networks across the whole Sky Group. Together, we help Sky broadband, mobile and TV enter new markets by creating a single and secure infrastructure for the amazing content and services that keep our customers coming back for more.

Your office space 

Sky Slough is close to London and Windsor.  

We're a couple of miles from Slough train station. You can pick up taxis outside or get a bus. And Windsor and Eton station is about 3.5 miles.  Burnham's the nearest local train station. About a mile down the road.  Number 12 & 13 buses both go to Slough station and number 13 to Burnham.  Get off at Buckingham Ave – Liverpool Road.  We're 10 minutes from junction 6 on the M4 and just off the A4.  Parking on site first comes, first served. Or there's a public car park across the road.
