Finance Analyst (Controllership)

Join our dynamic UKI Controllership team and support the delivery of accurate, compliant, and insightful financial reporting.

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join the UKIC team. In this key role, you’ll contribute to the statutory reporting process, strengthen financial controls, and support the delivery of strategic finance initiatives. Working closely with the Financial Controller and the wider finance community, you’ll gain exposure across audit, compliance, and transformation projects—helping to shape the financial governance and reporting landscape across Sky and Comcast.

What you’ll do:

• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements under FRS 101 and FRS 102 supporting the delivery of accurate and timely reporting

• Support audit processes by preparing schedules, coordinating information flow, and liaising with external auditors

• Assist in the audit and integration of newly acquired or restructured entities within the Sky and Comcast groups

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations reviews and variance analysis, helping ensure the integrity and compliance of financial records

• Contribute to compliance and internal control activities across the UKI finance function

• Participate in the delivery of key transformation projects such as entity rationalisation and Sky Group Consolidation Project

• Provide support for any local market capex queries and analysis

• Provide analytical support for complex accounting transactions and restructuring activities

• Use data tools and emerging technologies to identify areas for operational improvement and insights generation

• Collaborate with FP&A, Commercial Finance, and Shared Services teams to streamline reporting processes

• Deputise for the Financial Controller / Senior Finance Manager / UKI Controller as required

What you’ll bring:

• CA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

• Experience in statutory accounts preparation and/or audit support (experience in Big 4 or similar desirable)

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and UK GAAP (FRS 101/102), knowledge of USGAAP advantageous

• Strong Excel and data handling skills with attention to detail

• Clear communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships

• Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

• A strong sense of integrity and commitment to compliance and process excellence

• Strong analytical skills with experience reconciling complex data
