Over the last few years, Sky Retail has continued to innovate and has become a market leader in the mid-mall retail space. As we look to the future, we’re reviewing ways we can continue building a strong route to market, amplify our presence and create even better experiences for our customers by opening physical shops.
Join us as our General Manager in our Flagship Mahon Point, Cork store where you’ll work within our Retail Operations team to inspire and lead your shop team to consistently provide a great experience for our customers, as well as achieving exceptional commercial results. You’ll have the support to aid your continued development to make an impact, pushing boundaries, creating solutions, hitting targets.
What you’ll do:
Ensuring the shop is fully managed and delivering against key metrics and core KPIS
Be responsible for supporting our Team Leaders and Advisors through effective coaching and development conversations
Ensuring all equipment and products within the shop are working and maintained to be at its best
Through your expertise, you will make recommendations to improve interactions to give the best experience our customers
Directly support Sales Advisors and Team Leaders to help embed knowledge of sales and system processes
Deliver through people by creating a positive culture of fun and excitement by delivering through their own unique personality
Be responsible for stock ordering and the management of stock
Work with stakeholders to improve things through fresh ideas and perspective (people & customer)
What you’ll bring:
Excellent communication skills, listening and questioning
A passion for developing people through effective coaching, people development and people management
A passion for customer excellence and the ability to showcase outstanding service
Ability to help others to deliver against sales targets and customer metrics
A commercially focused leader who puts their people and their customers at the heart of everything they do
Understanding of Profit &Loss, customer performance and/or other commercial KPI’S
Experience running a successful Retail Shop, whilst keeping all products and maintaining equipment to their best
Experience of bringing plans and ideas to life
An excellent understanding of how to drive performance in a competitive market
