The Inclusion & Projects Manager is responsible for managing Sky Sports’ initiatives to continue to foster an inclusive workplace culture that values diversity. This role involves implementing & managing projects in line with evolving business priorities. The successful candidate will be comfortable proactively collaborating with leadership & stakeholders from across the business, as well as external partners, always taking a respectful, measured & values driven approach. The role will be part of the Workforce Operations department, which provides key support functions to over one thousand Sky Sports employees. 

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Overall project management of our inclusion workstreams. Ensuring agreed activities are delivered timely & effectively. 

  • Work with key internal & external stakeholders in maintaining fruitful relationships with our external inclusion partnerships & internal employee networks through an understanding of shared goals, events & activities. Supporting our external partnerships & internal networks as required – e.g. organising events.  

  • Work with wider Sky to ensure Sky Sports are represented & engaged in Sky-wide initiatives.  

  • Continuously collaborate to understand the specific inclusion challenges & share learnings to widen inclusion at Sky Sports to cover everywhere activities take place. Identify & communicate key operational changes required in Sky Sports to further an inclusive environment. 

  • Support internal stakeholders when required by representing Sky Sports at key events related to sports & inclusion in the workplace, sharing key learnings with leadership. 

  • Regularly report to leadership on progress, successes, & challenges, to guide the Sky Sports longer term inclusion strategy. 

  • Maintain & review key inclusion documents & their visibility on the Sky Sports Sharepoint e.g. parental checklists, inclusive language guide. 

  • Gather & interpret key data sets when required to inform key decision-making in the D&I space. 

  • Maintain a visible, open, door to new ideas on how to build an ever evolving, inclusive workplace. 

  • Work with internal & external stakeholders to educate, inform & address unique challenges faced by Sky Sports (e.g. shift work, live environments) as well as continue education for all at Sky Sports on D&I.  

 

 

What you’ll bring: 

  • Be an active advocate for diversity & inclusion:  underpinned by an understanding of Sky’s approach to diversity & inclusion coupled with knowledge of Sky Sports’ strategic aims, successes & challenges. 

  • Project management experience: experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organisational & time management skills. 

  • Excellent relationship management: experience in building open, trusting, respectful relationships at all levels of business is key. 

  • An understanding & appreciation of diverse points of view, with the ability to empathise with varying approaches & opinions in a respectful & curious way. 

  • A proactive, measured approach:  the role will be expected to work independently with internal & external partners, always representing Sky Sports in a responsible way. 

  • Presentation skills: the role will be asked to provide regular, clear, succinct, and relatable reporting to leadership.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
