Junior Assistant Producer - Sky Sports Football
The role of the Junior Assistant Producer - Football is to work as part of team to contribute to the production of Sky Sports linear Football output. The role will include a wide range of responsibilities, and involve working on our PL, EFL, WSL, and SPFL coverage; along with working across the departments support programming.
Reporting to the Producer - this is a key role that will ensure Sky Sports remains the destination of choice for sports fans, creates world class content and continues to add value to the Sky Sports subscription.
What you'll do:
- Planning, shooting, and creating openers, montages and features across our wider portfolio of live football output.
- Working in the live galleries and outside broadcasts.
- Devising content ideas for our upcoming games.
- Working in live galleries
- Collaborating with Sky Sports News and digital teams to push our content across multiple platforms
- Working effectively under pressure, reacting quickly, and meeting tight deadlines in all environments.
- Assisting with the production of multi-camera ENG/studio shoots.
What you'll bring:
- A desire for a career working in live environments; Galleries and Outside Broadcasts
- A knowledge and passion for Football.
- Understanding of self-shooting, and self-editing practices.
- Understanding of producing high-quality multi-platform content.
- Understanding of The Ofcom Broadcasting Code
- Strong English Language and written skills.
- Good editorial and creative judgement.
- Candidates need passion, stamina, enthusiasm, creativity, and determination. You should be self-motivated and adaptable – and demonstrate strong people skills.
