We are thrilled to invite a talented Junior Editor to join our dynamic commercial production team at Sky Media. Our team is renowned for delivering top-tier, innovative content that captivates audiences and sets industry standards. With a growing portfolio of exciting projects, we are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Editor to help us manage our expanding workload. What you’ll do:

• Participate in team meetings to discuss current projects, deadlines, and challenges.

• Provide progress updates and receive new assignments or feedback.

• Edit video content, including importing and organizing raw footage, creating rough cuts, and applying basic color corrections and audio adjustments.

• Add graphics, transitions, and effects as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in style and quality.

• Review edits with senior editors or producers and incorporate feedback.

• Make necessary revisions to ensure alignment with creative vision and technical standards.

What you’ll bring:

• Excellent knowledge of Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects with understanding of the Adobe Creative suite and other creative tools a plus 

• Use of Frame.IO and Lucid Link would be a huge bonus 

• In-depth knowledge about social platforms including best codecs, aspect ratio, safe zones for subtitles, etc… (YouTube, Meta, TikTok) 

• Ability to offer creative problem-solving solutions to enhance edit output 

• Being able to understand creative guidelines and briefing sessions 

• Strong technical understanding of HD & 4K digital video and encoding file formats, as well as clocking, QC and delivering for broadcast 

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English required 

• Knowledge of colour correction and audio mixing is a plus.
