What you’ll do:Build positive relationships with business team members and gain a clear understanding of business activities, drivers, and goals with a view to providing solution strategies and alternatives.
Make strategic recommendations, assess business opportunities related to new technologies, and evaluate the impact of business change on the data architecture and platform.
Envision, evolve, and communicate the enterprise data architecture to partners of all levels.
Develop capability models in relation to the data platform to supervise maturity and identify upcoming capability gaps.
Produce and maintain enterprise architectural diagrams for Sky Data.
Assist leadership and partners in evaluating the business’ mission and ensuring that data assets are used effectively.
Play a key role in supporting the Sky Data strategy by driving the transformation of our data architecture towards the target state, maintaining a high-level roadmap of the required capabilities, and constantly searching for opportunities to bridge these gaps.
Proven track record in the data or technology area, with a high degree of proficiency in designing and developing sophisticated, robust, and secure high-quality architectural solutions
Considerable experience in architecture
Very strong communication and collaborative skills – able to clearly visualise problems and solutions for non-technical partners.
Ability to optimally lead multiple sources of demand and provide coherent overviews of status and progress to senior management.
A broad data and technology background and the ability to articulate architecture approaches and decisions to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
Google Cloud Platform experience is beneficial

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
