Product DeliveryWant to deliver brilliant products and unmissable entertainment that grips millions of households? Our 1000 strong, Product Delivery team does everything from developing innovative AI technology to crafting the best HDR viewing experience for TV products. From Sky Go to Sky Q & Sky Glass, we take our products to the next level and make them more agile and reliable with every release.
What you'll do- Leads a team of technical analysts in developing and executing strategies to ensure successful completion of projects; provide guidance, direction, and mentorship to staff members.
- Own the work intake and analysis plans for the team, delegate and prioritise tasks as well as track the progress of the analysis to update relevant teams and escalate when needed.
- Provide technical leadership support to the team in detailed analysis and documentation of the requirements and solution design for all features and new work intake
- Mentoring the team in setting and achieving their objectives and supporting the team in overcoming any professional and personal challenges.
- Ensure that your team of Analysts manage requirements of complex delivery across multiple delivery areas, that requirements, business context are understood and fed into work intake, are signed off and met in solution design and implementation.
- Build collaborative and close relationships with Architects, Business Analysts within the department and external teams, to ensure alignment across scope, architecture, governance, plans and design of reliable and resilient solutions in all initiatives undertaken.
- Define, maintain and improve processes that team needs to follow, which should be transparent to the department.
- Keep abreast of constantly changing consumer and business demands, market trends and industry standards and legislation, evaluating impact and change. Able to research and evaluate new technologies and integrations and make recommendations for their usage.
- Creative problem-solver with the ability to learn new technologies and apply these quickly to the business and comfortable in quickly grasping and managing ideas in both familiar and unfamiliar domains.
- An excellent communicator and able to adapt presentation style and content to suit different audiences.
- You will have vision, drive, diplomacy and the ability to make things happen in an environment of ambiguity, complexity and multiple stakeholders with a diverse range of personalities and be able to influence others without direct authority.
- Proven experience of creating, maintaining and interrogating documentation and artefacts such as High-Level Requirement specs, API specifications and contracts, system models such as Sequence diagrams & Flow charts.
The Sky Go analysts’ team is proactive, forward-thinking, and collaborative team responsible for delivering the product vision for the suite of Sky Go streaming apps supported on various platforms including Mobile, Desktop and Big screens across UK, Italy, Germany and Austria
