Exciting opportunity for someone to join Sky News in a newly created role as Marketing Executive. You’ll play a strategic part in marketing award-winning podcasts and news content, collaborating closely with editorial, commercial and product teams to improve our approach and grow the reach and audience engagement of Sky News.

What you'll do:

• Podcast promotion: work with the Strategy Manager to develop and plan launches for Sky News podcasts. 

• Coordinate and execute promotion of podcasts including working with platforms (such as Apple and Spotify), negotiating with external podcasts for promo opportunities and collaborating with internal teams. 

• Manage promotional assets across multiple projects such as international FAST channels and podcast promotion. 

• Assist in creating promotion material, such as scripting audio trailers. 

• Create presentations and key fact sheets to share marketing strategies with internal teams and external partners. 

• Support strategy manager with relationships with international platform partners for promotion of Sky News on third parties via FAST channels.  

• Assist Strategy Manager on other business development projects, ranging from Live events digital innovation, audio and international. 

What you'll bring:

• 1-2 years of experience in a marketing, project management, or business development role. Experience in a media company a plus.

• Great knowledge and interest in media and news, and a passion for business development opportunities.

• A proactive attitude, enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and identifying areas for development within a team. 

• Relationship-building, comfortable collaborating with a range of teams. 

• Strong copywriting and communication skills, with experience presenting to varied stakeholders. 

• Comfortable using qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision-making.
