The Marketing Lead is responsible for all elements of VIP marketing across all channels – TV, Digital, Social, Email & our owned channels. We are looking for someone who can really lead on our marketing strategy whilst also briefing & executing our campaign creative. This role sits within the Marketing & Experiences team, which consists of 4 key pillars; Marketing, Experiences & Partnerships & Lounges.

What you'll do:

  • Marketing Strategy - Support the Head of by leading on our Sky VIP marketing strategy that drives customer awareness, engagement and satisfaction with the programme, based on a clear set of measurable KPIs, rooted in customer and market insight.

  • Build brilliant relationships through creative & innovation - Challenge creative and partner agencies to deliver best-in-class, award-winning work for Sky VIP marketing and activation campaigns. Pushing innovation and experimentation to ensure our marketing cuts through.

  • Marketing Planning and Evaluation - Lead the Marketing Managers to build & deliver our marketing plan, overseeing the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns including App, TV, digital, social, merchandising. Understand campaign performance & provide optimisation recommendations.

  • Manage budgets – Manage our overall marketing media & production spends, ensuring we are able to demonstrate ROI for our spends. Use data & learnings to influence our optimum marketing spends.

  • Stakeholder management - Take stakeholders on the journey to make sure everyone is pushing in the same direction best utilising the matrix organisation. Work with Commercial to build channel and deployment strategies to optimise performance against campaign objectives.

  • Brand Champion – Support the Head of Marketing & Experiences to activate the Sky VIP brand, bringing the vision and purpose to life for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring it is used correctly and to maximum benefit at all opportunities across the business.

What you'll bring:

  • Strategic thinking: Experience is leading marketing strategies based on data & insight, focusing on our short term & long terms plans, whilst managing our budgets efficiently.

  • Experience in customer, campaign & brand marketing, managing a large budget and management of ATL & TTL campaigns, including Media Planning & Digital.

  • Creative judgement – Strong creative eye. Ability to think from the consumers’ perspective and provide clear and articulate feedback that makes the work better. Manage briefing and delivering creative across multiple agencies.

  • Product marketing expert – experience of proposition positioning, development of compelling messaging to unpack Sky VIP simply to our customers.

  • Restless curiosity for consumer insight and campaign performance - looking at our category insights in different ways and continuously striving to understand how campaigns performed so that we can improve.

  • Brilliant collaborator and strong relationship skills – able to work across a matrix organisation and foster strong relationships with agencies.

  • Positive energy - High energy to drive and motivate the team as well as work across functions to get the job done.

  • Presentation skills - Credible and able to present and work to senior leadership team at Sky, with excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate views clearly.
