Marketing Manager

Sky Business is a new, exciting division of Sky. We’re passionate about giving businesses better solutions to keep them moving forward – from Small Business, through Mid Market and Wholesale, to Hospitality – we provide broadband, phone and TV services to the whole UK B2B market. This new role sits within the Commercial and Marketing department, focused on driving engagement, commercial value & retention across our smaller Connectivity businesses.

This role will report into the customer marketing lead supporting all campaigns and performance results for customer marketing into our broadband base.

What you’ll do:

• Plan and execute the commercial opportunity for growth within the existing SMB customer base driven by

  • Retention at best price

  • Enrichment / Upsell on existing product ladder (E.g. upsell speed or BB VAS)

  • Cross sell of our key transactional products – Mobile and TV – to maximise the number of revenue generating units (RGUs) held by customers

• Build an annual plan and execute the key campaigns

• Monitor and manage the key performance indicators (KPIs) which we should be affecting in our approach and support trading and quarterly planning processes.

• Work alongside our Brand & Messaging, Marketing Operations & Insight teams to ensure our creative, data analytics & customer insight deliveries line up with the plan

• Develop and maintain performance dashboards collaborating with wider teams to monitor retention, upsell, cross sell and campaign KPIs, ensuring actionable insights for decision-making.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience of delivering base management & associated marketing for B2C or B2B Telecoms/TV within a matrix organisation

• Understanding of the importance of using data to improve marketing efficiencies across our base activities

• Experience in creating, monitoring, and optimizing reporting dashboards to track campaign performance and KPIs

• Strong numeracy and commercial literacy. Ability to understand business cases and to size market opportunities as needed – backed by robust insight and data

• Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with ability to influence and confidently lead discussions at all levels from front line to senior management

• Strong presentation skills with the ability to bring forward insights and recommendations clearly and persuasively to cross functional stakeholders

The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week. Osterley office.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
