This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multi-skilled environment. As a Media Operator, you will contribute to Content Services efficient delivery across live feed ingests, file processing and ingest, content outlets, playout for live Studio and Outside Broadcast productions. We provide a 24-hour, 365 days a year service delivering to the requirements of Sky and specific third-party channels.

What you’ll do:
Become part of the team that works across all Sky platforms and channels covering Sports, Movies and Entertainment
Be responsible for the delivery of high-end file-based content including UHD and HDR
Gain, or bring, experience in a live studio environment including VT playout and EVS editing for production including sports and entertainment broadcasted by Sky.
Become part of a diverse team of creative, collaborative, and motivated people, creating the best content for our customers
Provide a consistently high level of customer service and excellent client focus.
Work alongside and within other departments within Content Services, utilising industry best practices to deliver a first-class service to all clients, whether internal or external
Be able to work on a rotating shift pattern that covers 24 hrs / 7 days per week
What you’ll bring:
A desire to develop or start your career in the broadcasting industry.
Further education in media, broadcast or related technology with graduate level being advantageous
Be able to demonstrate interest and engagement in media related activities
A demonstrable ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment with an ability to react quickly in line with the nature of a live and transmission critical role
Aptitude for learning and a motivation for continuous development as a multi skilled operator
Excellent organisation skills with clear, effective communication
An ability to take responsibility for certain areas of work and be proactive with problem solving
Experience of working in a broadcast environment is desirable as is an understanding of broadcast systems and production processes
Able to actively adapt to change and aid the continuing progress of the department as a whole
A pro-active approach and ability to show evidence of determination and desire to succeed.
Be helpful, positive and have a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

How you'll work:
This role is based entirely at our office, where you'll be part of a vibrant, hands-on environment that fosters teamwork, creativity, and connection. You'll have access to thoughtfully designed workspaces and the opportunity to engage directly with colleagues and teams every day.
The position follows a 77-hour fortnightly shift pattern, scheduled across Monday to Friday and alternating weekends (MTFSS, WT). Shifts are 12 hours long, with a 1-hour allocated lunch break, ensuring a balanced structure that supports both productivity and well-being.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
