Media Planning & Investment Manager - AV

As the Media Planning & Investment Manager you’ll oversee the media planning, reporting and evaluation of our Sky Media Addressable (Sky AdSmart and Sky Broadcaster VoD) media plans, ensuring we are effectively communicating key campaigns to Sky’s customers whilst delivering on commercial targets.

What you'll do:

• Oversee and support two executives to produce best-in-class media plans, ensuring implementation of campaign strategy effectively delivers against marketing and business objectives, reporting into the Media Planning Lead.  

• Analyse and report on campaign performance using test and learn principles in conjunction with Sky Media’s Insight team. Recommend meaningful steps to optimise output and drive performance improvement.

• Maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across marketing - interrogating briefs and offer solutions that maximise our owned media channels.

• Maintain the relationship with Sky Media’s product and data teams to ensure proprietary tools provide the latest 1st or 3rd party data opportunities to support Sky’s business objectives.

• Deliver commercial targets working closely with Sky Media Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate reporting benefits our owned media investment.

What you'll bring:

• Experience working within a media agency environment as an AV media planner/buyer with demonstrated knowledge of planning principles in conjunction with Sky Media’s advertising platforms. (AdSmart, BVOD etc)  

• A brilliant collaborator with an ability to work across a complex matrix organisation with impeccable stakeholder management skills, preferably with examples of managing Marketing and Finance stakeholders.

• Great communication skills that land key messages and influence effectively – across verbal, written and presentation output. Good commercial acumen and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Good attention to detail and proficient with data manipulation; analytically minded and able to extract actionable insights.

Team Overview:

The Owned Media team sit within Consumer Strategy as recognised experts in Media Strategy, Planning and Investment.  We fuel decisions that shape marketing plans for all of Sky products and services.  Our primary objective is to maximise use of Sky’s owned media platforms utilising our in-house relationship with Sky Media.
