As the Media Planning Executive you’ll support the team with media planning, reporting and evaluation of our Sky Media Addressable (Sky AdSmart and Sky Broadcaster VoD) media plans, ensuring we are effectively communicating key campaigns to Sky’s customers whilst delivering on commercial targets

What you'll do:

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day process of Addressable campaigns as a part of the Sky marketing strategy, including planning, booking, tracking, and evaluating campaigns.

  • Act as point person and become the specialist for Addressable planning enquiries from internal teams, suggesting new opportunities or ideas and ensure that the latest innovations and opportunities have been considered.

  • Develop an understanding of the inner dynamics of Sky and the interplay between multiple stakeholder teams such as, Marketing, Sky Media, and Econometrics.

  • Liaise with data teams to gain solid understanding of customer behaviour and media consumption to allow appropriate data use and continuous improvement of the current Addressable strategy.

  • Assist the Media Investment team in tracking and adjusting the investment forecasts across Sky AdSmart and Broadcaster VoD including budget reconciliation and billing queries.

What you'll bring:

  • Understanding of the basics of media planning principles, such as Brand, Direct Response, coverage, and frequency.

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to record, track and report on campaign spend.

  • Broad understanding of audience trends and ability to analyse data, interpret and apply media research.

  • A brilliant collaborator with an ability to work across a complex matrix organisation with excellent stakeholder and time management.

  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Team overview:

The Owned Media team sit within Consumer Strategy as recognised experts in Media Strategy, Planning and Investment.  We fuel decisions that shape marketing plans for all of Sky products and services.  Our primary objective is to maximise use of Sky’s owned media platforms utilising our in-house relationship with Sky Media.
