Sky Business is a new, exciting division of Sky. We’re passionate about giving businesses better solutions to keep them moving forward – from Small Business, through Mid Market, Enterprise and Wholesale, to Hospitality – we provide broadband, phone and TV services to the whole UK B2B market.

This new leadership role sits within the Commercial and Marketing department which supports all our market segments in Sky Business.
What you’ll do:
This role is responsible for defining and executing our marketing strategy and plans across our Mid-Market & Enterprise connectivity business (>100 employee businesses), working collaboratively across sales, product and the wider commercial and marketing team to maximise the revenue and growth potential as we strengthen our brand and build our reputation in the market:
Develop and deliver the Sky Business Mid-Market & Enterprise connectivity marketing strategy and plan, making sure it aligns with business priorities and is grounded in the needs of IT decision makers.
Execute integrated marketing campaigns and engagement strategies to drive awareness of and demand for our connectivity product portfolio including but not limited to DIA/Ethernet, Broadband, Mobile, Cloud Voice, SD-WAN and Public Wifi.
Define and deliver on our plans to stretch the awareness and credibility of the Sky Business Brand further and faster into Mid-Market and Enterprise building on the narrative of “Selling solutions”
- Leveraging thought leadership, events, trade shows, conferences, analyst relations and sponsorships.
- Driving the “solutions” narrative on our Sky Business website and improving digital customer journeys
- Learning from the experience of our sister company Comcast Business and identifying synergies where appropriate.
Define and execute marketing plans to support the launch of new propositions including such areas as Mobile, DIA/Ethernet and Cloud Voice, working closely with the commercial proposition, digital, legal, creative, product and sales teams.
Work with our agency partners and in-house creative team to develop content, marketing assets and sales collateral (e.g. presentations, brochures, digital support, on-boarding training guides). across digital, social media, email, events, round tables, and more.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the business (Sales, Propositions, Product, Marketing Operations, Digital, Legal) to optimise the success of marketing activity.
Manage the Mid-Market and Enterprise marketing budget – delivering improving returns on investment -and using data and performance analytics to measure impact and continuously optimise marketing efforts.
Direct management responsibility for 1 Midmarket Marketing Manager.
What you'll bring:
Proven experience experience in a B2B marketing role for high-tech products/services, with proven success working with Mid-market or Enterprise customers.
Proven track record of developing and executing data-driven marketing plans that drive brand awareness, build credibility and generate demand for complex tech/telecoms solutions.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders across sales and commercial proposition teams to build alignment.
Ability to cut through complexity, bring clarity and prioritise ruthlessly, identifying initiatives that drive maximum impact and effectively communicate priorities to the team.
Be flexible and adapt well to change, being willing to roll up your sleeves and see where things need to be done in the highly dynamic environment that Sky Business represents.
