The People Partner role serves as a key change agent that contracts into the business to drive and align People strategic priorities with business strategy, whilst also supporting the strategic goals and needs of the business.
Please note that this is a permanent opportunity; however, there are also fixed-term contract (FTC) opportunities available within the team. Details regarding these options will be discussed with selected candidates during the screening stage.
What you’ll do
Accountable for the design and delivery of strategic people plans to enable business outcomes.
Act as a local point of business expertise for CofE’s to help shape people products & services.
Lead / advise on organization design and the delivery of people change.
Challenge the business to ensure there is integrity in all of our people decisions.
Question and challenge senior business leaders to get to the root cause of business issues, and use this to effectively match CofE products to business issues.
Proactive talent management of the directorate, including finding opportunities for talent mobility across the organisation, succession planning and external talent pipelining.
Embed and achieve D&I ambitions through all people initiatives.
Role model and mentor our leaders to embed Leader Model and drive cultural change.
Ensure consistent reward and banding principles are applied across the employee lifecycle.
Seek impactful workforce data & insights to enable more effective business decisions.
Partner with leaders to create solutions which build a high performance culture, in turn driving higher employee engagement and performance.
What you’ll bring
Essential criteria:
Experience operating as a People Partner in a complex environment, supporting senior leaders to deliver business priorities through effective people solutions.
Proven experience leading and embedding organisational change, applying organisational design principles and change best practice.
Experience of creating robust people and culture plans that support business transformation and people engagement.
Demonstrable ability to influence senior leaders to adopt people strategies that enable sustainable business outcomes.
Strong coaching and partnering capability, providing constructive challenge and building leader confidence in people decision making.
Ability to use people insight and data from multiple sources to diagnose issues and shape evidence based recommendations.
Clear commitment to inclusion, fairness and employee experience, embedding inclusive principles into people practices and leader behaviour.
Strong collaboration skills, able to work autonomously while partnering effectively across People Partnering, Group HR and wider Sky stakeholders.

How you’ll work
We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
