The purpose of this role is to provide flexible support up to three directors and their teams across departments within Global Product. The successful candidate will need to thrive in a fast paced and demanding environment, possess keen attention to detail, will bring a sense of fun and energy to the world of work, will establish and maintain excellent working relationships at all levels within the department, across Sky, Comcast and externally if required, and will be able to work autonomously as well as being a team player.

What you’ll do: 

  • Maintaining an efficient, correct, and up-to-date diary for your manager(s).

  • Undertake administrative duties such as preparing and approving expenses, purchase orders, and other accounting documents.

  • Work collaboratively with PAs and Admin Assistants across the Global Product team, providing cover and adapting support as needed.

  • Arrange UK and international travel and accommodation, book meetings across time zones, and coordinate restaurant bookings and events.

  • Assist with presentation preparation, offsite team events, social events, general admin tasks, and organise agendas and minute meetings when required.

  • Liaise with Sky Spaces, AV, IT, HR teams, and provide support for recruitment, onboarding, team maintenance, team moves, and new starters.

  • Manage meeting room bookings, visitor passes, conference or VC calls, hospitality, couriers, post, team reports, departmental reward schemes, internal systems, comms distribution, and organising gifts or hospitality.

What you’ll bring: 

  • Proven secretarial or personal assistant experience, with a strong ability to handle confidential information professionally is a must.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple diaries simultaneously.

  • Willingness to take on new and different challenges, showing a proactive, confident, and self-motivated approach to all tasks.

  • Friendly, approachable, and confident manner with excellent communication skills at all levels, and a flexible, can-do attitude that supports collaboration.

  • Strong ability to act independently within the core role, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with excellent attention to detail, a methodical approach, and the ability to read the room and problem-solve effectively.

Team overview: 

Global Product is made up of 8,000 people across eight countries, who also create all of the hardware products for Comcast, manage the content platforms that power our products, as well as develop Peacock, the streaming service for NBC Universal, and Sky Showtime, which launched in 2022. Global Entertainment Experience Product Management is one of the areas that sits within Global Product.
