Podcast Video Producer (Promotions) (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

We’re looking for a producer to work on making sure our audio content stands out on social and video platforms. You will be a content creator with excellent technical and production skills, and who knows how to turn around creative video that’ll engage and build audiences. You’ll need a real passion for podcasts, YouTube and social media – as well as extensive knowledge of Audition and Premiere.
What you'll do:
Ability to edit compelling video for YouTube and social platforms
Understand how to engage and grow audiences, particularly on YouTube
Contribute story ideas and treatments
Know how to analyse and react to data
Be up to speed on trends in podcast video market – and have ideas for new innovations.
Liaise closely with colleagues on Sky News video and social teams digital
What you'll bring:
Audio/video editing experience in vertical – especially Audition and Premiere
Experience creating content for digital and social platforms
An in-depth knowledge of the podcast market and an ability to help identify opportunities to engage and grow an audience
A firm grasp of national and international news and current affairs and a solid understanding of media law and compliance
Flexibility and a commitment to develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues
Able to meet tight deadlines and act on constructive feedback

Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. There’s also plenty of parking, bike shelters and showers.
