International Publicity Lead

Through Sky Studios and Content, we commission and produce a range of Sky Originals across Scripted and Unscripted for our viewers across Sky Group. In addition to this, we also sell Sky Original series to streamers and broadcasters around the world, working with our distribution partners including NBCUniversal, Fremantle, All3Media and more.
Given the increase in sales of Sky Originals globally, we are looking for a new International Publicity Lead to coordinate the publicity campaigns from across Sky to our international partners. This is a brand-new role that will sit within Sky’s wider publicity team, working closely with International Marketing team.
What you'll do:
- International Coordination: This role is responsible for relaying the domestic/hub PR strategy to our international distributers and licensees, ensuring consistency of brand positioning for Sky Originals, while allowing for local/international campaign nuances.
- Publicity, Junkets & Assets: During production, the role will work to ensure on-set publicity needs are met (i.e. set visits, in-production press/assets) and during the main campaign window, this role is responsible for ensuring junket slots, interview time and screening/premiere tickets are secured and allocated to international media.
- Trade Publicity: This role will also deliver trade publicity to support international sales, including curtain raisers, sales-focussed press coverage and PR support at international festivals.
- Issues Management: As a core member of the wider publicity team, this role is also responsible for supporting on any issues management related to our content, helping to draft talking point and reactive lines, ensuring consistency in approach internationally.
What you’ll bring:
- This role would suit someone who has experience of working in international publicity within television or film,
- The key skills and capabilities needed include a deep understanding of how TV & Film campaigns work,
- ability to understand content brands and how they can be adapted for international audiences,
- solid media relations skills, ability to craft compelling narrative,
- excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships with talent and key stakeholders.
This role will require some degree of international travel and will work across a range of international time zones.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
