Role overview
The Manager of Product Management is responsible for leading the product management team in developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy that meets customer needs, drives revenue growth, and achieves organisational objectives. The Manager will be responsible for managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. This includes gathering and prioritising product requirements, defining the product vision, working closely with engineering teams to ensure successful execution of projects, and delivering high-quality products on time. The Manager will also be responsible for driving innovation through research and development initiatives as well as staying abreast of industry trends to identify opportunities for new products or services.
What you’ll do
Lead subscription & offer strategy — Develop and own the product strategy for subscription services and promotional offers within the commerce back‑end, ensuring alignment with broader business goals, user needs, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.
Define data‑driven requirements — Use qualitative and quantitative insights to define requirements that meet industry best practices and deliver robust subscription and offer capabilities.
Champion user‑centric design — Advocate for customer‑first experiences, ensuring subscription and offer journeys meet the expectations of both users and the business.
Collaborate across functions — Work closely with business, product, engineering, research, and external partners; balance diverse inputs; and build a trusted network of cross‑functional collaborators.
Execute and optimise the roadmap — Deliver a roadmap of high‑impact subscription and offer functionality, continuously optimise existing features based on feedback, performance metrics, and partner capabilities.
Communicate vision and insights — Present strategy, KPIs, insights, and work progress to stakeholders at all levels, clearly articulating the value and direction of subscription and offer initiatives.
Champion scalable best practices — Promote and evangelise best practices, contributing to the planning and development of scalable, extensible tools and resources that support subscription and offer operations.
Enable operational excellence — Maintain product documentation and create training programmes that empower operations teams to manage in‑market subscriptions and offers effectively.
What you’ll bring
Develops a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives; create road maps outlining short-term plans as well as long-term strategies.
Leads cross-functional teams in designing, developing, testing, launching new products/services; manage all aspects of the process including market research and analysis, competitive intelligence gathering and analysis.
Analyses customer feedback/data to identify areas where improvements can be made; develop actionable insights based on data analysis.
Monitors performance metrics (e.g., sales figures) to assess success of existing products/services; make recommendations on how to improve them if needed.
Establishes pricing models that maximise profits while remaining competitive in the marketplace.
Collaborates with marketing team members to ensure effective promotion and positioning of products/services across channels.
Stays up-to-date with industry trends and developments; identify opportunities for new products or services.
Essential criteria:
Experienced platform‑level product owner — Proven end‑to‑end ownership and delivery of platform products, with deep expertise in subscription models and promotional offers within a commerce domain.
Roadmap leadership in streaming/media — Demonstrable experience strategising, testing, developing, delivering, and scaling products in streaming or media environments.
Backend subscription & offer capability development — Strong track record developing backend capabilities for subscriptions/promotional offers, grounded in technical understanding and partnership with engineering leaders.
Expert digital product development — Relentlessly high standards with deep operational knowledge of tools, technologies, best practices, and experience‑based methods across the full digital product lifecycle.
Strong analytical & technical acumen — Fluency in defining customer problems, forming hypotheses, prioritising backlogs, understanding systems design and scalable architecture, and rigorously evaluating concepts through execution, experimentation, success, or failure.
Proficient with modern delivery tools — Close familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Airtable, Slack, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering leaders to define and deliver high‑calibre solutions.

How you’ll work
We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 2 days in the office per week.
