Product Manager (Advanced Connectivity)

This Product Manager role will own, build and manage advanced connectivity solutions via strategic infrastructure partners and vendors, including Product development, delivery, and In-Life management, for existing and new solutions. We are looking for an individual who can be the voice of Enterprise connectivity products for B2B connectivity, owning the Customer Experience and driving the development and competitiveness of the Sky Business offering in this segment of the market.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in identifying and developing new Product ideas, tactical and/or strategic Product enhancements and have strong experience in leading, planning and tracking the entire end-to-end Product lifecycle in a fast-paced matrix environment. Commercial acumen and the ability to develop Business case scenarios for prioritisation of key initiatives and communicating to key stakeholders is essential.
What you’ll do:
New Product Development: This includes (but is not limited to) developing, launching, and maintaining market-leading Advanced Connectivity propositions / solutions, with a leading Customer Experience.
Ensure the Product proposition meets customer expectations and maximises performance and profitability by developing actionable insights from sales, service, and direct customer feedback.
Initiate Product development, from ideation through to delivery, including business case development, rationalising scope/MVP, partnering with the stakeholders to work through solution(s) and developing pricing, packaging frameworks through to deployment as well as owning e2e Product trial process for NPD.
Act as the Business Owner for key strategic and tactical initiatives, ensuring collaboration, transparency and clear direction through effective decision making.
Strategic alignment and delivery: Monitor market trends, customer feedback and internal performance to ensure that the Advanced Connectivity roadmap aligns with the broader Sky Business strategy.
Work cross-functionally to ensure that any changes are delivered effectively and achieve business objectives.
Provide clear, concise and timely updates to stakeholders at all levels, including the Senior Leadership Team, on product performance, roadmap progression and new product deliveries.
In-Life Product Management: Manage existing Advanced connectivity solutions including strategy alignment, vendor management and feature updates.
Own the Advanced connectivity Product base. Identify opportunities to improve Product performance, delivered by driving cross-functional, virtual teams across the Sky Group.
Vendor and supplier management: Represent Sky Business at key industry forums and negotiate on behalf of Sky Business to develop and agree the right solutions and experience for Sky customers and partners.
Negotiate costs and maintain positive vendor relationships to drive continuous innovation.
Supporting Supply Chain to deliver new processes & forecast demand.
Have a passion for software, Technology and Customer Experience as a focused self-starter with a positive attitude who can run multiple tasks and projects simultaneously & thrives in a dynamic and complex environment.
What you’ll bring:
Strong passion for Enterprise Connectivity services with the ability to negotiate and convince key stakeholders in a complex, matrix environment.
The ability to define a Product vision and work cross functionally to translate that vision into a clear and well understood requirements.
E2E Product Management experience, with a firm knowledge of best-practice for in-life management and new Product development.
Proven success in managing a connectivity Product portfolio targeting B2B customers.
Experience launching new products and increasing profitability, with a focus on Product lifecycle management.
Experience within the B2B segments of Telco market.
Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively, building strong working relationships.
Excellent Communication, Presentation & Stakeholder management skills.
Ability to make decisions in fast-paced environment and execute at speed.
