What you'll do:

• Work with our technology teams to own the short-term roadmap and define the product requirements for Sky Protect’s mobile app.  
• Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of the product lifecycle and have hands-on experience of leading product roadmaps.
• Work alongside the Scrum Master and Tech Lead to define sprint goals, plan the sprints and support the scrum ceremonies.
• Own the product backlog and ensure it represents the needs of the broader Sky Protect business as well as the needs of the technology team.
• Ensure the product backlog and incoming unplanned work is prioritised.
• Review performance of the app and establish opportunities to improve.
• Work with the Platform Product Owner to ensure the Mobile and Platform teams are aligned on what each team is working on, the priorities and any dependencies.
• Promote cross-functional working and facilitate with bringing developers together to work on new roadmap items.
• Play an active role in defining and planning of technical projects in the wider IoT Programme – working closely with Delivery & Programme Managers.
• Maintain and update product documentation.
• Communicate to stakeholders the roadmap and priorities of the Mobile team, the sprint progress and release notes.
• Work with the Product team to understand the holistic Sky Protect product roadmap, the direction of the business and support with new initiatives.

What you'll bring:

• 2+ years practical experience in a similar role as a Product Owner for a mobile app.
• Strong understanding of scrum and agile methodologies.
• Experience in writing product requirements including expected behaviours, acceptance criteria and UI/UX elements.
• Have an analytical mindset and proficient in reviewing technical performance data to identify issues and/or opportunities.
• Have experience in IoT platform technology including services like AWS.
• Not essential but experience with product, hardware, and firmware development advantageous
• You’ll have proficiency with JIRA.
• Be a self-starter with a strong motivation to deliver outstanding experiences for our users.
• Be a strong communicator and maintain great stakeholder management.
