What you’ll do:
Responsible for Product Management within a Squad and oversees all the work developed across all the members of the Squad (which may be smaller)
Responsible for analysis and writing of user stories for the squad, as well as supports ART level analysis and refinement of Features where required
Prioritises stories and defines Sprint backlog and goals for a Squad. Guides Story creation and prioritises stories during PI Planning, and accepts stories and linked Features, by acting on the customer’s behalf during the PI
Works closely with the Squad to provide guidance, provide insight and give feedback quickly, while also being responsible for final decisions on product functionality
Sets the overall priorities for the Squad backlog, in alignment with the product roadmap for the Agile Release Train. Oversees progress against Sprint backlog, to ensure work and priorities are in line with ART Product Roadmap, strategy & goals
Communicates progress to peers and relevant stakeholders
Works with the Squad members to define Story requirements and definition
Participates in Squad level ceremonies e.g., Backlog Refinement, Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo. Participates in ART-level ceremonies (e.g., PI Planning, PO sync)
Works closely with the Scrum Master to ensure that delivery is on track, and manage any prioritisation trade-offs that may need to be made during delivery
What you’ll bring:
Ability to measure and track attainment of committed business objectives
Demonstrated ability to gather and translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, with a deep understanding of business processes and their relationship to the technology solutions.
Able to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that the solution is fit for purpose.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of operating effectively at both technical and non-technical levels. Adept at managing ambiguity and articulating complex ideas in a clear, concise manner.
Practical experience of using agile analysis techniques, working closely with developers and testers, and using Agile tools
Ability to use more formal analysis techniques such as Use Case Diagrams and Business Process Modelling
It would be beneficial to have experience working within an scaled Agile framework (SAFe)

Leeds is home to two Sky offices; our contact centre and digital tech hub at Whitehall, and our Central Square customer sales centre right at the heart of the city.
