The Product Owner is responsible for leading and managing the successful delivery of our product capabilities. This includes implementing the product roadmap, coordinating resources, tracking progress, ensuring quality control and providing regular updates to stakeholders. The Product Owner will also be responsible for identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery of features on time and within budget.
What you’ll do
Communicating the Product Vision - Support the development of the Product Vision, led by the Product Managers and explicitly communicate the Product Vision to your teams, ensuring that the context, rationale and purpose of the product is clear and understood
Agreeing Priorities based on maximising value - Collaborate effectively with the Product and Programme Managers and key business stakeholders to agree priorities, considering, Product capability and business priorities. Ensure features are prioritised on their basis of value whether direct revenue, key dependency for other deliveries or other less tangible reasons
Managing the Product Backlog - be accountable for effective Squad Backlog management, including creating with the squad and clearly communicating Feature and Story prioritisation, and ensuring that the Backlog is transparent, visible and understood
Overseeing the Development Stages – maintain consistent and well-documented detail, reporting on and managing risks to ensure plans/boards are kept in line with base-line expectations, Ensure appropriate reviews are in place to build confidence with the key stakeholders Working with the scrum teams to ensure that operational requirements are captured early in the process and fully factored into development processes, to ensure the delivery of resilient, scalable and secure systems
Maintain Delivery Momentum for overall Product Delivery – by working closely with other Sky departments and third-party suppliers, ensure that detailed plans are captured that consider key dependencies and to ensure these are closely managed and contingent options in place as required, unblocking impediments to delivery enabling the development teams to focus
Instil continuous improvement as a behaviour – take the lead on evaluating on whether the product development is fit to progress to the next iteration or whether you need to make adjustments prior to proceeding
What you'll bring
Leadership and ownership of delivering SW products with experience gained either as a Product Owner or Project Manager
Must have solid background of delivery experience from within the Technology industry
Must have strong demonstrable Agile skills, with solid experience of Scaled Agile / Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Must be a collaborative, adaptive team player for this key role to help drive some key technological initiatives for Ad Tech
Be a good relationship builder who can develop key relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally, ensuring alignment to meet product development and delivery goals
Experience gained from within the Media or AdTech industry a definite plus

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
