We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Programme Manager to join our dynamic Project & Programme Management team. As a Technical Programme Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various technical projects & programmes within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects & programmes.

What you'll do 

• Communication & Coordination: Facilitate and lead communications between Global Commerce and Global Streaming Technology stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations, strong relationships, and aligned priorities. Coordinate with other programme managers to ensure alignment and collaboration. 

• Leadership & Development: Provide line management and leadership to a group of skilled Project and Senior Project Managers, supporting their growth and development. Confidently lead and chair workshops with senior, technical, product, and business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of actions and key points. 

• Project Delivery & Governance: Ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects/programmes in your portfolio, with appropriate governance and controls in place. Take responsibility for delivering large or complex initiatives involving multiple teams, ensuring effective collaboration and development from start to finish. 

• Stakeholder Reporting & Alignment: Provide clear and concise updates to senior stakeholders and executives for regular status reporting and ad-hoc decision support. Collaborate with the senior leadership team to align priorities and project objectives with overall business goals. 

• Best Practices & Improvement: Apply best practices in programme and project management for quality project delivery and lead continuous improvement of processes. Be comfortable working in a busy environment and able to prioritise where conflicting calls on your time exist.

What you'll bring: 

• Proven Track Record: Extensive experience in successfully delivering technical programmes, managing multiple technical projects within a fast-paced industry over several years. 

• Leadership & Team Development: Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, coach, and inspire teams of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and manage relationships across all levels of the organisation. 

• SDLC Expertise: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Relevant technical experience with an understanding of OTT, Streaming services, Identity, and Sales and Service capabilities. 

• Strategic & Collaborative Thinking: Ability to think strategically, pragmatically, and positively about product, technical, and cross-functional challenges. Collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders for the benefit of our customers. 

• Exceptional Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

• Certification: A recognised Programme Management Practitioner certification is desirable. 

Team overview 

Global Commerce are responsible for the Identity and Sales and Service platform within Global Streaming Technology, facilitating seamless customer experiences across multiple platforms, including Peacock, SkyShowtime, Showmax, NOW & WOW. Focussing on sign- up, sign in and acquisition through prospect web journeys, third-party partner integrations and in-app purchases. Additionally provides extensive self-service capabilities for in-life customers account management such as chatbots, live chat and comprehensive help articles.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
