Propositions Lead - NOW / Streaming

Role/Team overview   

The NOW and Streaming Propositions team shapes the future of our streaming business, setting the strategy and roadmap across proposition, pricing, packaging, platform and distribution. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Propositions Lead to join the team, reporting to the Head of Propositions, Streaming.

What you’ll do

·       Proposition development: lead the strategy for our streaming proposition across packaging, pricing, platform and positioning, using customer, commercial and market insight to shape clear choices and priorities

·       Business casing: assess the strategic rationale, customer value and commercial impact of proposition and platform changes, new distribution models and partnership opportunities

·       Proposition delivery: partner with go-to-market and delivery teams to prioritise and implement complex proposition changes, translating the proposition into clear requirements, aligning teams and resolving issues as they arise

·       Collaboration and stakeholder management: build trusted relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, creating alignment across different objectives and influencing decisions throughout the business

·       Team leadership: provide strong leadership, coaching and development, creating a high-performing team and building proposition capability across the wider function

What you’ll bring    

·       Strategic vision: able to create clear direction amid ambiguity, structure complex challenges and combine insight, analysis and creativity to develop practical, high-impact solutions

·       Strategy into execution: experience developing and delivering proposition, pricing, packaging or commercial strategies that drive business growth

·       Commercial acumen: strong understanding of subscription media P&L drivers, with the ability to assess commercial trade-offs and develop robust business cases

·       Leadership skills: able to lead multiple complex projects with a proactive, self-starting mindset, while setting clear direction, empowering others and developing a high-performing team

·       Attention to detail: a rigorous approach to analysis and delivery, ensuring assumptions and numbers are robust, dependencies are understood and potential scenarios are considered

·       Collaboration mindset: team player with an ability to build trusted relationships across the organisation, and to understand various team objectives and priorities

·       Stakeholder management: excellent ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, influence decision-making, and challenge the status quo effectively

·       Market expertise: able to act as a senior subject matter expert on the streaming landscape, with a strong understanding of the media market, competitor propositions, evolving customer expectations and the commercial challenges facing subscription services
