What you'll do

  • As a leader within the facilities and operations team, you will take ownership of the delivery of all facilities and security operations on a day-to-day basis in your region.

  • You will be managing the day to day operations of the Housekeeping, Workplace and Security teams in your region. 

  • You will be accountable of allocation of resources of your area of responsibility, ensuring the delivery of the service through outsourced providers.

  • Partnering with the Ops Delivery Manager to ensure the delivery of PPM and reactive maintenance in accordance with Legal Requirements, contracts KPI and SLA and within budget

  • Accountable for the Health, Safety and Compliance of buildings. 

  • Partnering the internal Safe@Sky team to ensure this is proactively monitored and continuously improved.

  • Carrying out site visits, audits and surveys to validate the condition of the buildings and the delivery of services.

  • Ensuring all processes, documentation and certifications are reviewed, updated and archived accordingly.

  • Collating key financial, contractual and transformation information supporting the operating performance. You will also report on key delivery information to ensure the contract performance can be captured.

  • Managing the business stakeholder relationships on behalf of Spaces, working to understand the challenges and opportunities within each building and sharing the wider work of the Sky Spaces teams.

  • Managing Internal communications for all Facilities related matters, including escalations.

  • Specific responsibilities and deliverables include:

    • Day to day facilities escalations

    • Building health, safety and compliance

    • Facilities management of Sky Spaces Estate

    • Physical Security service lead across the Sky Spaces Estate

    • Business Stakeholder Management


What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in facilities and security management, supported by recognised qualifications in both areas. Member of IWFM and IOSH/NEBOSH. Required working knowledge of hard service operations. Client side experience and experience managing complex estates highly desirable.

  • Strong stakeholder management and Excellent communication  skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels, both internally and externally and to summarize complex matters in a clear and concise manner.

  • Commercial acumen and budget management expertise, ideally gained within an operational team in the commercial property sector.

  • Highly organised with great attention to detail and a collaborative working style, thriving in team environments.

  • Full driving licence with flexibility for extensive travel and overnight stays as required.

Osterley:

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.

The role requires regular travel, generally on a weekly or biweekly basis, averaging around three days per week across different sites.
