Sales Executive
An external facing role, supporting the Sales Managers in selling the full suite of Sky Media advertising products to agencies and clients within a specified portfolio, including Linear spot, Sky AdSmart (incl. Sky Regional), VOD & Digital, Sponsorship, Pub Sports, Partnerships and Data led solutions.

Sky Media is the advertising sales arm of Sky, offering businesses of all shapes and sizes an exciting array of opportunities on TV, online and on the go. Reaching over 95% of the UK population, Sky Media represents all of Sky’s channels and sites including Sky Sports, Sky News, Sky One, Sky Cinema, Sky Arts, Sky Atlantic and Sky Witness. Sky Media also sells on behalf of a range of renowned broadcasters and channels including Channel 5, Discovery, National Geographic, MTV, FOX, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central.
What you’ll do
Identify revenue opportunities via Ad Intel and other industry tools
Support the Sales Manager in providing sales arguments and insight for pitches and brief responses
Deliver an on brand, high standard of pitches and response output
Engage the customer base with regular comms and proactive pitches for relevant brands.
Produce content & market updates for customer meetings and agency newsletters
Maintain effective relationships with key agency contacts within the portfolio
Develop and manage relationships with internal partners in both London and Manchester ensuring Manchester is well represented in internal meetings, e.g. sponsorship, insight
Responsibility for logging and reporting revenue figures
What you’ll bring
Essential criteria:
Clear understanding of the full suite of Sky Media sales propositions and key focus areas for the business.
Knowledge of the wider media market and where Sky Media’s product set fits into the AV advertising marketplace.
Strong relationship skills – both with agencies and internally.
Proven administration and organisational skills.
Strong mathematical skills
Strong understanding of the business opportunities within the agency portfolio
Excellent sales, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work within set timeframes and meet deadlines
Desirable skills and experience:
Familiarity with TechEdge and other industry/sales tools to support proposals (TGI/Tableau/Landmark), e.g. Sales Executives need to be able to run and understand top converting programmes, average TVRs, channel profiles, etc.

How you’ll work
We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
