What you'll do

• Work as a Scrum Master with our IoT Product and Technology Teams to deliver changes and updates to Sky Protects IoT Platform, with a particular focus on software delivery.

• Run important team ceremonies (for example stand ups and refinement) and take ownership for ensuring that the team board(s) are kept up to date.

• Have an open and practical approach to:

  • Planning and delivery

  • Reacting to change

  • Co-ordinating with other teams , identifying and managing dependencies.

  • Reporting on the team’s progress to stakeholders

• Remove blockers – identify and remove obstacles to the team’s progress, work proactively to resolve conflicts, promoting a positive and constructive work environment

• Be comfortable using Jira to plan and structure your team’s work, and using Jira to report on KPIs and progress.

• Take a collaborative approach to working with our Architecture, Product Team  and Tech Leads to understand our vision for the way forward and to ensure that the team’s backlog is being maintained in alignment with this.

• Be an advocate/mentor/guide for Agile ways of working – encouraging  your teams to adopt an agile mindset and mature agile practices

• Support the Sky Protect Technology Team to identify and implement Agile KPIs that can be used to monitor team performance

• Play an active role in the  planning of technical projects in the wider IoT roadmap – working closely with Delivery & Programme Managers to ensure the wider delivery and programme goals are kept in focus and targeted.

What you'll bring

• Practical experience in a similar role for software delivery as either a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager working with Agile approaches such as Scrum or Kanban

• Proven track record of using KPIs to track and adapt teams with different levels of Agile maturity

• Advantageous to have had exposure to IoT Technology,

• You’ll be proactive and flexible, with excellent facilitation and coaching skills

• You’ll have proficiency with a project management tool like JIRA or similar

• You’ll be able to keep a motivational mindset whilst focusing on several tasks

• Proactive demeanour and a sense of accountability

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
