What you'll do

• Create design or review existing/proposed designs for services or applications and to be able to identify potential issues in said design. Where issues are identified look to resolve them using defined security patterns and security principles

• Define capabilities and their requirements to how best address Skys identified Risks or identified business Opportunities .

• Ensure that technologies being deployed in all arears meet defined business capabilities and clear requirements. Ensuring all items can work together, are fit for purpose, and are secured to the appropriate standards, best practices and long-term Sky roadmaps

• Able to advise on developments on security properties in technology. Able to identify new technologies and design how to use these in the business context.

• Helping the business to make informed decision on risk and able to document and explain clearly why decision were made.

• Removes and deals with ambiguity and conflict.

What you'll bring

• Demonstrate a passion for cyber security and have a positive outlook and approach.

• 3+ years of Experience in working within a typical Cyber/Infosec field, dealing with subjects ranging from technologies, compliance, or regulatory frameworks that have an impact on the Cyber function or offerings.

• In depth understanding of security architecture in systems design.

• Strong skills in analytical, decision making, verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Delivers clear, structured documentation to all levels of the business.

• Being able to present clearly and precisely to all levels of the business.

• Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate, share and support colleagues.

Our Cyber Security team helps the business grow while protecting our customers, colleagues and partners from increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. Our team includes Cyber Fusion Centre, Security Services, Risk and Compliance, Programme Delivery and Business Security, and we work across the UK, Italy and Germany. Osterley

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.

On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed, and even get pampered at our beauty salon.

Leeds

Leeds is home to two Sky offices; our contact centre and digital tech hub at Whitehall, and our Central Square customer sales centre right at the heart of the city. Our modern spaces, with subsidised cafes and dedicated break-out spaces, provide a balance for our hybrid working teams. Need a break? You can blow off steam over a game of pool or table tennis, or stay fit with local gym discounts

Livingston Watermark House

Our lively campus is a free shuttle bus away from Livingston South train station and the town centre. Plus there’s onsite parking available for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.

You’ll be well fed at our subsidised canteen, and you can keep in shape at our onsite gym – or play a game of pool or table tennis.
