This role is an exciting opportunity to join us and work within our Fraud Team.
Please, note, this is a team manager position and previous people management experience is required.
What you'll do:
Take ownership for one or more of the key workstreams in the Fraud Team, where you will drive continuous improvement and ensure that members of your squad receive relevant training, support, and tools to deliver effective fraud controls
Manage day-to-day operations of the Fraud Team, ensuring all work is appropriately prioritised and completed in line with SLAs and to the required quality standards
Line manage a team of Fraud Analysts, providing regular feedback to support their development and to maintain and improve performance.
Support the Fraud Leadership Team in all operational aspects, which may include reporting, data analysis, ad hoc investigations, and project delivery. You will also ensure effective communication across the whole team, sharing key updates and escalating emerging issues in a timely manner.
Assess cases generated by the Fraud Management System (FMS) for unusual or suspicious activity in relation to application, payment, and usage screening to prevent abuse and loss of revenue across multiple Sky products
Work rotational shift patterns and 24/7 on call cover, to ensure appropriate coverage to support current and new business needs across all products and services
What you'll bring:

A track record of developing others to support their performance, growth, and career progression. Previous people management experience is highly desirable.
A high level of personal integrity, confidentiality and accountability as warranted by the sensitive nature of working in Fraud. You’ll conduct yourself in a collaborative, confident and professional manner when representing Fraud internally and at industry level.
Proven skills in time management and prioritisation, with the ability to respond to tight deadlines and real-time decision-making, whilst maintaining flexibility and accuracy
The ability to work collaboratively, to deliver exceptional results through others and to demonstrate highly effective communication skills and fairness.
Strong analytical experience within a fraud prevention role, with experience and knowledge from the communications industry a highly desirable quality. Understanding or knowledge of Sky’s products and services and the associated fraud risks with each is also desirable.
