The Senior Learning Business Partner is responsible for leading the development and implementation of learning and development strategies that align with the organisation's goals. In this role you will collaborate with various departments or estates to identify training needs, designing and delivering effective learning programs, and evaluate their impact on colleague performance and organisational success.

What you’ll do

  • Strategic Planning: Support the development and execution a comprehensive learning and development strategy that supports the organisation's objectives.

  • Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to your business area to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities for teams and individuals.

  • Own the relationship with offshore partner teams and partnerships in business area.

  • Program Design and Delivery: Partner with subject matter experts to design and deliver engaging and impactful learning programs across various delivery methods (in-person, virtual, eLearning, blended learning, etc.).

  • Performance Consulting: Partner with department leaders to provide performance consulting and recommend learning solutions that drive business results.

  • Vendor Management: Source and manage external training vendors, ensuring the quality and relevance of their offerings.

  • Budget Management: Oversee the learning and development budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and Return on investment.

  • Evaluation and Reporting: Measure the effectiveness of learning programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, and report on their impact.

  • Change Management: Support organisational change initiatives by providing training and development resources that facilitate smooth transitions.

  • Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of the latest learning and development trends, tools, and technologies to foster a culture of continuous learning.

  • Team Management: Lead and mentor L&D team members to execute learning strategies successfully.

What you'll bring

  • Business Partnering: Demonstrable experience of partnering with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse data and metrics to inform learning strategies and measure program effectiveness.

  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective partnerships.

  • Innovation: Creative approach to designing engaging and impactful learning experiences.

  • Leadership: Demonstrable experience in leading high performing teams(3-5 year’s experience) with the ability to influence and drive change within the organisation.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement effective training interventions.

  • Project Management: Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.

  • Customer Centricity: Commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of internal stakeholders and learners.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think long-term and align learning initiatives with the organization's strategic goals.

  • Coaching and Mentoring: Skills in providing guidance and support to Colleagues and team to enhance their professional development.

Preferred

  • Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strategy: experience in developing and implementing learning strategies and managing learning programs.
  • Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 or desire to work towards A CIPD qualification

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
