We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Global Mobility & Compliance to join Sky on a 6-month fixed term contract. You’ll respond to the growth of the business internationally, the changing landscape of global mobility, the increased focus on international compliance and the complexity of moving our people into current and new locations including cross border workers.

This vacancy is based in the London Reward function, and you will report into the Group Head of Mobility.  The role is hands on, focussed on compliance, policy and process where you will be exposed to a variety of interesting and challenging issues and be at the forefront of a key strategic business focus.

What you’ll do:

  • Support with design and implementation of an International Working Policy and process to include tracking and technology solution, support documentation and communications.

  • Audit and analysis of all international workers and completion of any required actions.

  • Support with developing current business traveller policy and process.

  • Work with the Global Mobility Senior Manager to effectively manage risk and compliance across Sky for all international mobility, global roles & remote workers, ensuring compliance with local legislation and regulation (tax, social security, immigration).

  • Work with the Global Mobility Senior Manager managing complex compliance cases across Sky, Comcast and NBCUniversal.

  • Work in partnership with the global mobility operational team based in Scotland to ensure correct reporting, compliance and efficiencies are managed through the effective design of policies and processes.

  • Support the Head of Global Mobility and Head of International HR with ad hoc projects and the wider HR agenda.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven Global Mobility Senior Managerial experience.

  • Ideally tax qualified, having worked in an Expat Tax Consulting firm.

  • Expertise in business analysis and process mapping end to end.

  • Deep understanding of the international market and ability to share best practice.

  • Excellent presentation skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate complex concepts simply and effectively to senior stakeholders.

  • Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business and establish trust.

  • Ability to communicate the technical aspects of international working at all levels of Sky.

  • Pro-active, problem solving, creative, agile, with operational skills and strong data analysis and reporting skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills, calm under pressure; ability to re-prioritise in short timescales.

  • Resilience, flexibility, and ability to be effective in a fast paced and challenging environment and a strong team player, working openly and collaboratively.

Your office base:
Osterley
