We are looking for someone to take responsibility for developing our hardware partner relationships to deliver products and activity that will excite our customers, help us grow our base and enable us to hit both our financial targets and market share ambitions

This role is responsible for managing all Mobile partner activity, from device ranging to negotiating deals, so has a significant impact towards Sky Mobile’s performance from both a growth and financial perspective
What you’ll do
Manage the commercial and contractual relationship with key mobile vendors for the sourcing of mobile products (devices and accessories)
Act as the primary point of contact internally for, and externally with, the vendor accounts
Negotiate with vendors to deliver the right commercial models and mitigate risk posed to the business, ensuring right contractual arrangements are put in place, alongside the legal team
Optimise vendor support for device deals securing the best outcome for Sky including promotional activity, marketing funds and other beneficial terms; co-ordinating stakeholders to ensure aligned sign-off with all team inputs, objectives and KPIs considered; leading deal evaluation; mitigation plans and funding reconciliation
Work closely with Commercial and Marketing teams to align on device level plans and vendor activities; pricing and performance
Instigate New Product Introduction (NPI) process to determine product ranging, working with Go To Market (GTM) and other stakeholders to ensure successful product launches
Work closely with Supply Chain to optimise product supply, availability, working capital and stock cover including forecast reviews and lifecycle management decision making
Reduce the overall risk of supply into the business by ensuring all appropriate monitoring, analysis, control, contracting and governance activities including regular business reviews are enacted in business
Manage vendors to performance and contractual arrangements and, if required, take the necessary action should vendors fail to meet performance and contractual obligations
Develop key market knowledge in relation to key areas of spend in order to support and influence key decision making with business stakeholders on future supply
Manage stakeholders of all levels within a complex and cross functional environment
What you’ll bring:
Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing and negotiating with strategic third parties (e.g. device manufacturers)
Commercial acumen & numeracy skills: instinct for what makes good commercial sense; experience building, presenting and getting proposals approved
Preferable Experience working in a telco or mobile industry related role with understanding of mobile market and dynamic
Experience of negotiating and drafting contractual terms alongside Legal counsel
Analytical & structured thinking: able to quickly interpret commercial terms; analyse performance / market insights, appraise options and recommend a clear course of action that optimises benefit and mitigates risk to Sky
Relationships: exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, relationship and stakeholder management skills
Results-oriented approach: excited about delivering value and benefit to Sky
Ability to work quickly and accurately with high attention to detail, managing focus and priorities
Strong Microsoft office skills, specifically Excel (analysing the data) and PowerPoint (telling the story)
