Senior PMO Manager

We are seeking a results-driven and highly experienced Senior PMO to lead the execution of multiple high-value telecommunications installation projects, ensuring they deliver significant revenue growth and EBITDA contributions. This role demands a strategic leader with expertise in project portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, and operational efficiency, overseeing the provisioning and enablement of key telecommunications solutions, including WiFi, business broadband, SD-WAN, and TV services. The Senior PMO will play a pivotal role in optimizing project outcomes, ensuring seamless service integration, and driving continuous improvements to enhance business performance.  

What you’ll do:

• Lead and deliver complex telecommunications projects, aligning with business goals and financial targets.

• Define and implement best-practice PMO frameworks to drive efficiency and high-quality delivery.

• Collaborate with leadership to align projects with business growth and EBITDA strategies.

• Support the Insight Delivery Analyst to create a single approach to PMO delivery.

• Manage a high-revenue project portfolio, ensuring effective prioritization and resource allocation.

• Drive operational excellence by optimizing project governance, reporting, and risk management.

• Establish KPIs to monitor project success and proactively adjust strategies to maximize financial performance.

• Oversee the seamless deployment and activation of telecommunication services, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum customer satisfaction.

• Ensure efficient, scalable, and compliant provisioning processes.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and technology teams to refine delivery methodologies.

• Act as a strategic liaison between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring alignment on project objectives.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, senior management, and external partners.

• Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring optimal service levels and cost efficiency.

• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.

• Drive adherence to industry compliance, governance, and quality assurance standards.

• Lead audits and quality checks to uphold high service reliability and customer satisfaction.

• Oversee project budgets and optimize resource allocation, ensuring cost-effective and profitable delivery.

• Implement financial forecasting and tracking mechanisms to enhance EBITDA performance.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging emerging technologies and process enhancements to streamline operations and improve customer experiences.

• Mentor and develop junior project managers and cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance culture.

• Champion collaborative and results-driven team dynamics, ensuring alignment with business goals.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in project management within the telecommunications industry, with a specific focus on provisioning and enabling products like WiFi, business broadband, SD-WAN, and TV services.  

• Proven success in delivering complex telecomms projects on time and within budget, using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.

• Solid understanding of telecomms technologies (WiFi, broadband, SD-WAN, TV).

• Leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate across departments.

• Ability to simplify complexity and maintain clarity.

• Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

• Ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders.

• Experience with matrix management and surfacing key priorities.

• Strategic vision for service PMO.

• Leadership and line management skills to inspire and develop a team.

• Highly organized, structured, and able to prioritize multiple workloads.

• Strong communicator and influencer.

• Expertise in setting up Portfolio offices & PMO practices.

• Experience in developing and leading people plans and initiatives.

• Ability to set and measure team objectives and targets.

• Coaching skills to empower a team and ensure accountability.
